Une des résolutions de l’année, c’est d’aller jouer dans l’élément liquide, une démarche un peu compliquée dans la mesure où je n’ai pas de caisson étanche pour protéger mon boitier. Le bonhomme est quant à lui bien emballé dans une combinaison 4 mm.
J’ai marché sur la plage un moment avant de choisir mon espace. J’ai subi un couple de photographes munis de téléobjectifs d’envergure qui trouvaient sympa un homme à moitié immergé dans ces conditions et il a fallu quelques gestes explicites pour leur faire comprendre que non, on ne shoote pas les gens sans leur demander leur avis.
Vent d’Est établi qui creuse la vague et lui offre une chevelure argentée revêche, soleil au Sud-Ouest, les conditions sont magnifiques.
Voici peut-être la première de la série WaveLights. J’imagine un tirage de 2m sur le mur qui va bien…
One resolution of the year is to have some fun in the liquid element, a kind of risky business considering I have no waterproof equipment for my camera. The guy himself is well packed in a 4mm swimsuit.
I’ve been walking on the beach for a little while before choosing my space. I had to confront the stubborness of a couple of photographers with nice zooms who found interesting to shoot a man half underwater in such conditions. Looked like they did not want to get the point about me not willing to be on their pictures so I had to use some explicite gesture to pass on the message and let them know noone is supposed to be photographed whithout consent..
East wind on stage, nicely curving the wave from inside and offering a mane special effect, South-West sun, conditions sounded perfect.
Here is eventually the first picture of the WaveLight serie. I’m thinking about a 2 meters wide art print on a wall ready to welcome it…
